About Gillian:

Gillian is a registered Nutritional Therapist, Functional Medicine practitioner and Integrative Cancer Coach, and is passionate about supporting people with cancer integrate nutrition and lifestyle medicine alongside standard cancer care. Gillian was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer in 2015 and integrated radical diet and lifestyle change alongside surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Gillian’s personal experience overcoming cancer gives her a unique perspective rooted in experience and practical understanding of life as a long term patient. Her clinical practise recognises the body as an interconnected system and focuses on finding the root cause of illness and disease whilst optimising a person’s health and well-being. The core of Gillian’s approach uses nutrition and lifestyle medicine to identify and remove risk factors for cancer, while creating an inhospitable environment for cancer to grow and ultimately to restore the body’s innate ability to heal.
