Miss Canada 2020, Black Lives Matter Activist, and Model Nova Stevens has a message for you: Love yourself first, surround yourself with a community who inspires you, and be fiercely proud of who you are. We talk to Nova about her childhood and the massive shift of moving from Ethiopia to Newfoundland, moving out as a 15-year old and taking on New York City. This episode delves into the world of pageantry, the importance of mentors, the impact of social media presence and posting, and letting your love for humanity lead your way. Anyone looking to level up, disrupt the norms, and be the change you want to see – for yourself first, and THEN for others, this one’s for YOU! Nova so beautifully hopes we will all one day say: “you can’t believe in me more than I believe in me”. So, BBs, ask questions, invest in yourself, and stand up for positive progress and systemic change. Nova is a true inspiration, and we’re so excited to share our time with you!
